Mas Salvanera is a charming little rural hotel, built on a cottage from the XVIIth century in Girona, northest in the Spanish Katalonia. Its history turns back to 1.234 when an old watchtower was raised to prevent the region from muslims’ raids. Its 2.400 m2 are distributed in 6 buildings. All the house has central heating and Wifi connection, indoors as well as outdoors: 11 different double rooms with bath, hairdryer, tv and minibar, 3 living-rooms with chimney, 2 dinning-rooms and a meeting hall with capacity for 40 people, equipped with the latest technology. There is a big swimming-pool too, 2 carps in the magnificient garden, and closed free parking. Mas Salvanera and its 48ha. lie in harmonic combination between the mountaniuos landsacape of the Pyrinees and the closeness of the Mediterranean Sea, with their lovely beaches at the Costa Brava, “Best of the World 2012-Top Travell Destination”-price. In an area of about 25 km. the visitor reaches Girona and its Jewish Quarter from the XIVth century, Figueres, seat of Salvador Dalí’s genius and his work, and enchanting medieval populations like Besalú and Santa Pau, on the catalan Romanic Route. Nature is beautiful in the closed Natural Parc of the Vulcanoes in the Garrotxa Region, at the lakeside in Banyoles or on the countless paths through the wonderful surroundings. Sport is also a pleasure at the next camp field, at the Costa Brava shore or by the lake of Banyoles, and one can enjoy the Spanish cuisine in the private restaurant for the hotel visitors.
