Belmond La Residencia is located on the island of Mallorca off the coast of Spain in the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel is situated in Deia, a charming peaceful village far away from the crowds, surrounded by the majestic Tramuntana Mountains. The town of Deia is an out of the way spot reached by narrow winding roads, a peaceful charming village surrounded by mountains with a romantic landscape of olive, orange and lemon groves. It is just a stone’s throw from the clear blue Mediterranean Sea. The hotel is set in 30 acres/12 hectares of olive and citrus groves on a hilltop and offers spectacular views of both the mountains and the sea. Belmond La Residencia is renowned for its high level of service and world class facilities. El Olivo is the crowning jewel of the hotel and perhaps one of the finest restaurants in Mallorca. The hotel also features an award-winning full service spa offering a menu of extensive services. The spa has six treatment rooms with terraces, indoor and outdoor pools, sauna and steam room and Jacuzzi. Other facilities include two superb tennis courts, some of the best tennis facilities in Mallorca. The courts feature breathtaking views of the mountains and Mediterranean Sea. Also available are a table tennis area, a practice wall, pro-shop and a fully accredited resident professional. The hotel is situated in two refurbished manor houses from the XVI-XVII century, whose original architecture and style have been carefully maintained. The 32 double rooms and 25 suites feature local Mallorcan decor using natural materials and original antiques, while combining rustic style with modern luxury. Each room is unique, some feature high ceilings, romantic little corners or original works of art. All rooms and suites offer beautiful views.
