A great charming house requires dedication and love, and when Marian and Judit set eyes on this property, they knew they had plenty of both to spare. Abandoning the big city, and after an extensive search of Marion’s home territory, Galicia, they found a large stone house and granary, robust trees and even a bamboo forest set in a generous eight thousand metre plot nestled in the extensive countryside surrounding the village of Cuntis. The Casa A Pedreira was born. Enveloped in a sea of green, it’s hard to decide if this is a house set in a garden or vice versa. The luxury of space makes it ideal for children and couples alike. This country residence in Pontevedra, divided into various floors, vaunts a lush lawn, the aforementioned bamboo forest, a swimming pool and three ponds that feed a spring bubbling within the grounds. The house is a stone masterpiece with inviting bedrooms; thick walls, which put pressure on the Wi-Fi; a traditional dining room bursting with dark red wood; and a sunny living area complete with a gallery which invites you to curl up with good book.
