From the air, Jaen is a sea of olive trees stretching into the distance and the neighbouring surrounds. Vilches heralds your arrival at Despeñaperros gorge, replacing the ubiquitous olive tree and presiding over the thick green path running from east to west between the Sierras de Cazorla Nature Reserve, Segura y Las Villas and the Sierra Morena. El Añadio small charming hotel, sits up where the air is cool, and bulls wander among the oak groves; in fact this area is so far off the beaten track that it would be easier to find us using GPS coordinates than the actual address. The house is located at the end of a winding road which leads through seven kilometres of stunning countryside, home to bulls, hoopoes, bee-eaters, crested larks and kestrels. The large nineteenth-century house is a welcoming sight, and the view from the swimming pool confirms that we are in the midst of nature in its purest form. The cool interior of the house provides refuge from the summer heat, shelter by the fireplace during the winter months, and comfort at the table where the food served is inspired by the fruits of the land, starting with breakfast and the heavenly bread and oil served by Ramona. Come to Vilches and discover your own piece of heaven. Business hours of reception: On business days: from 00:00 to 00:00 .
