Just off a street beside the main square of the old quarter of Arcos de la Frontera, stands La Casa Grande, a palace-house dated back from 1729 with magnificent views across the Arcos's cathedral. More than three hundred years have passed and this mansion still conserves the splendid blend of its rustic and aristocratic flair typical of Cadiz Mountains. Elena and Ferran are the enthusiastic young hosts of the "big house", as locals say. They both work as freelance journalist from this peaceful place now open to the guest after a carefully restoration. Rooms vary in size, are full of Arabic tiles on walls and floors, antiques, coloured walls, wood in the ceiling, terracotta floors and loaded with charm. The two suites, one with a full equipped kitchen, and one double are nicely styled with en-suite colourful bathrooms, air-conditioned, radio, television and telephone. The guest made its entrance into a white interior column patio where the warmth of the place can be touch. Breakfast and nice tapas with wine can be served on the spacious terraza overlooking the historic Arcos. Business hours of reception: On business days: from 09:00 to 22:00 .
