The Posada La Sacristia is a 17th Century building and has received the Isidro Peralta award for its original restoration. It is located in the historic center of Tarifa, 200 meters from the beach and the port. The Sacristia has 10 rooms in the main building and others in emblematic buildings nearby, all inside the historic center. All of the rooms have their individual touch of period furniture creating a friendly atmosphere. The Posada La Sacristia has a pleasant and cozy restaurant and art lounge as well as a sauna and a treatment room for various massage therapies. Tarifa, internationally known as the Mecca for wind-, and kite surfers is surrounded by historic white villages. The natural beauty of the country is ideal for horseback riding, for watching the migratory birds or for a cultural visit to the ancient ruins of Baelo Claudia dating back to the 2nd Century A.D.
