The “Monopol” is a family-run hotel with a 75-year-old tradition. It is located in the centre of Puerto de la Cruz, close to the three most beautiful plazas, the Old Town and the ocean. The hotel is built in the traditional canary style with wooden balconies, inner courtyard, hand-carved verandahs, palm trees and a glass roof. All 92 rooms are equipped with bathtub/shower/WC, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, fan, and safe. Many of the rooms have a balcony.
