This large house, situated in a three-hectare estate full of pine trees, holm oaks and cork trees, is in the heart of the Tiétar valley on the border between the provinces of Toledo and Avila. The owners of this small rural hotel decided to combine their profession as potters with running a hotel. They built this large house in the foothills of the Gredos mountain range respecting the architectural style of the area using Toledo bricks, traditional roof tiles, wood and earthenware flooring. El Tejarejo charming hotel has seven guest rooms, each decorated with an individual style and named after Cervantes novels. In every corner of the house there are examples of Paco and Pablo´s ceramic work whilst on the walls there are numerous original paintings made by painter friends.
