Blue Gum Country Estate is hidden in the valley that ascends towards the small town of Stanford, just outside Hermanus. The estate is a working wine farm and developing vineyard. This magnificent 130 acre piece of paradise is perfect for those seeking an alternative route and destination to the garden route or a relaxing break from the city. The delightful estate, nestled among ancient Blue Gum trees, overlooks the leafy banks of the Klein Rivier and encourages guests to relax in tranquil beauty and endless luxury. Blue Gum has 12 comfortably furnished rooms, and provides guests with many amenities and luxuries including room service, wake-up calls, complimentary biscuits and tea/coffee Children are most welcome at Blue Gum! There is a safe play area and we will also gladly place a cot in your room. All bathrooms include a hair dryer and bathrobe. All of our rooms have a television, telephone, and a kettle. A convenient minibar and a safe are also available in all our rooms. Some of our beautifully designed rooms have their own balcony. Our hotel also offers comfortable non-smoking rooms. There are bicycles for hire for short and longer trips to allow you to explore the local area. While away the evening in the acclaimed hotel restaurant, which also offers a vegetarian menu. Our entire crew would like to happily welcome you to the Mosaic Private Sanctuary. Guests arriving by car are welcome to use the hotel's available parking spaces. WiFi can be found in the hotel's public areas. Make yourself at home catch up with friends in the lobby area, or grab a book and head to the reading room. Take advantage of the garden terrace. Where you will stay If you are staying with us on business, you'll enjoy having a desk in your room. While visiting us, our guests are provided with a kettle for brewing a cup of coffee in the morning as well as a strong box that are found in every hotel room.
