The Iconic Poenamo Hotel known for the history with the All Blacks is situated just eight minutes from the city centre. The Hotel has been recently refurbished to a 4 star standard with kitchenettes added to all the Poolside Studios. We are minutes away from the Takapuna Golf Course, North Shore Hospital, North Shore Hospice, The Fairway Lodge, North Shore Events Centre, North Harbour Stadium and the Bruce Mason Centre, where all major concerts, sports games and conventions on the North Shore of Auckland take place. Within the complex there are a number Food and Beverage choices including The Backyard Bar and Restaurant, Pat's Garage Sports Bar, Gengys Mongolian BBQ Buffet, Hell Pizza, Kebab Fuel, Yim Siam Thai Restaurant and Bushman's Grill. Free of charge with every Poolside Studio is unlimited high speed internet, use of the YMCA gym, squash and yoga classes. Check In Time: 2pm (1400 hours) Upon arrival a NZD 50.00 bond per night will be required in cash or authorised from credit card details for any incidentals. If bond not used, it will be returned upon check-out. Check Out Time: 10am (1000 Hours) Getting There: Coming from South of Auckland – from the airport take the Northern Motorway 1, continue on this road until you’re over the Harbour Bridge, then take the 419, Northcote Road exit, turn left and the hotel is the first building on your right hand side, approx 400m down the road. Coming from North of Auckland – from the Southern Motorway 1, take the 419, 'Northcote Road' exit, turn right, drive over the motorway, and you will find the hotel on your right hand side, approx 400m down the road. Parking: All rooms have an allocated free of charge car park. We also have another complimentary car parking area at the rear of the complex. Free Truck and Coach parking available.
