Accommodation is in charming little stone bungalows or ’trullos’ scattered throughout the fragrant garden of flowers and shrubs. All the 83 rooms are tastefully furnished, complete with bathrooms, including hairdryer, telephone, radio, tea and coffee facilities, colour cable TV, mini-bar/ fridge, trouser press, cooling/ heating system and safe. All the rooms have a terrace or a small private garden. Guests can relax during the day around the two enchanting swimming pools, one of which includes a mini pool for children and a Jacuzzi, whilst the second one is the quieter adults pool. Our private beach, known for hundreds of years as “Kantra”, because of its savage beauty and its limpid clear waters, is located in the rocky fjord inlet of Mgarr ix-Xini. It provides a bar and grill restaurant, rich with fresh fish and meat, sunbeds, umbrellas, and shower/toilet facilities. A minibus service, which takes you directly to the beach in five minutes, is free of charge. Kantra Beach is open is high season only. The ‘Wellness Spa’ has carefully chosen to blend with the surroundings and of a ‘Trullo’ style of the Hotel suites which is a distinct feature of the centre. It includes an indoor/outdoor heated Swimming Pool, Gymnasium, Steam Bath, Finnish Sauna, Sun-Tanning Room, Masseur, Beauticians, Whirlpool Bath and others. All of the latest technology. Other services include various conference and incentive meeting rooms. Palazzo Palina, a medieval castle, which was the residence of a Knight of Malta, is the “icing on the cake”, where any function can be organized on the highest level.
