The territory of the municipality of Supersano, covers 36 km², halfway between the Ionian and the Adriatic Sea. Characterized by the small hills of Serre Salentine, rich in flora and fauna, its name indicates, most likely, a very healthy place for the climate and the air. Near the center, in fact, there was the vast “Bosco Belvedere”, which has now almost entirely disappeared.
