Hotel on the lake shore with swimming pool The Grand Hotel Imperiale is located in Moltrasio at the Lake Como famous for its peaceful atmosphere, and 5 km from the motorway exit Como Nord of the A9 Milano – Lugano. Built in 1920, open in 1995 as Grand Hotel Imperiale and completely renovated in 2006, the hotel combines rationalistic architectural lines with classic Art Nouveau elements. The rooms are extremely comfortably designed and ensure a restful and pleasant stay. The comprehensive amenities in the rooms offer every kind of comfort. They include, amongst other things, air conditioning, TV, mini bar, WLAN and internet connection as well as many other amenities. The Il Giardino restaurant, which is located in a bright lounge and leads directly into the green garden, offers set menus and à la carte dishes which vary daily. Breakfast can be taken in the garden already in spring. The Regina bar is a great place to relax and to spend some time. The restaurant Imperialino (4 forchs Michelin Guide Restaurant 2011) is an a la carte restaurant with a view of the lake and is open all year around. The hotel also offers a pool bar! Moltrasio is in a strategic position only 45 km away from Milano, 4 km from the Highway’s A-9 entrance/exit (called Como Nord) and 5 km from the Swiss borderline. Directly in front of our hotel, our guests find the boat station, so they can enjoy our wonderful lake with a boat. Albergo Posta Ristorante offers 17 rooms disposed on 3 different floors and every floor has a different style. On the first floor, you will find 3 double rooms furnished with an elegant Lombardy style. On the second floor, you will find 8 superior double rooms, every room has a different style, colour and detail’s care .We decided to decorate them following the harmony-colour and the flowered drapers. All these rooms are very charming and 3 of them are facing the lake. On the third floor, you will find our classic double rooms in commercial style, the economic ones, three of these rooms have a nice balcony on the lake side. All our rooms are equipped with telephone, sat-TV, hair-dryer, air-conditioning, safe box and bathroom. La Veranda, the hotel’s restaurant, offers gourmet menus inspired by Mediterranean cuisine, with healthy products of the season fresh from the market, as well as a fine wine list.
