Business hours of reception: from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Located in the heart of bustling Callander and within easy reach of the Trossachs National Park, the Dreadnought is close to the shops and amenities of the town, yet still offering a calm and peaceful location in which to relax. Built by the McNab clan in the 1600s, the hotel has a periodic charm to accompany the modern facilities. All rooms are en-suite and most of the rooms are providing baths and only a few having showers, all have colour TV and tea- and coffee making facilities. Please make also use of our friendly room service. The lounge bar has wood panelled walls and architecturally listed stained glass windows, a very traditional 2 conference rooms with a maximum capacity of 100 delegates. Both rooms are very traditional and equipped with an OHP and screens, flip charts and TV and video facilities. The hotel is an approved licensed premise for holding civil ceremonies and in our restaurant which holds up to 140 people for your meal and function in the evening, the Dreadnought is the best choice for your event. A large staircase in the foyer of the hotel offers a special place for wedding photographs.
