The Swan Hotel is an enchanting 17th century former coaching inn, sitting in the heart of the village Bibury on the banks of the River Coln. Bibury, nestled in the hills of the Cotswolds, first earned its title of the most beautiful village in England from the artist and craftsman, William Morris (1834-96). It is not hard to see why. From whichever direction you approach this village, it exudes charm from every house, tree and meadow. This hidden corner of England is the perfect retreat for unpretentious comfort, a friendly atmosphere, wonderful food and fine wine. There are 22 individually decorated bedrooms, each with their own lavish private en suite bathroom with Molton Brown toiletries, and some with large spa baths. Most rooms overlook the beautiful River Coln. Each of the bedrooms features a flat-screen television, tea/coffee making facilities, direct-dial telephone, hairdryer, internet access, electric shaver point, radio and trouser press. Some rooms have complimentary cotton bathrobes for you to use during your stay. There is a lift to access the first floor of the main hotel and all rooms are non-smoking.
