The hotel dates back to the 19th century. The building which was designed in classic style is a former pharmacy, which originally belonged to the well-known iron manufacturing plant Schneider. Later it was used as a guesthouse for hosting the visitors of the company. Today it represents a modern, comfortable hotel with personal flair. The guestrooms and suites are spacious and comfortable with King Size beds or 2 separate beds, bathrooms, telephone, satellite TV and safe. The double rooms face the park. The suites also provide a sitting area. The restaurant serves regional specialities. During summer, you can also sit and eat on the terrace. A bar in very typical English style with well-selected wines is also open to our guests. Le Creusot is a municipality of the Département Saône-et-Loire in the french region of Burgundy. The economy is principally characterised by the metalworking industry. The origin of this industrial sector as well as the arms industry goes back far in history to the foundation of the “Royal Foundry” in 1781.
