Discover the diversity of a region: romantic castle ruins, dreamy mills or closed slate, copper and gemstone mines. The holiday park with 218 holiday houses and 48 holiday apartments is located between the rivers Rhine, Mosel, Saar and Nahe in the middle of the southern part of the Hunsrück. The distance to the gemstone-metropolis Idar-Oberstein is approx. 15 km, to the famous wine town Bernkastel on the Mosel approx. 35 km and to the airport Frankfurt-Hahn approx. 50 km. The premises can be divided into 2 parts: The holiday houses and apartment building are located on the southern slope – the recreational centre with restaurants, reception, wellness area and conference rooms are located by the reservoir. The Erbeskopf with its 816 m is the highest peak of Rhineland-Palatinate and approx. 12 km away from the premises, offering great possibilities for winter sports in the winter time. The family slope is groomed and prepared with snow guns. The famous “Schinderhannes” cross-country ski run lead through 13km of beautiful nature. From May until November a new Summer toboggan run offers fun on 1356 m and a difference in altitude of 106 m. 6 perfectly signposted hiking- and walking tours begin right by the holiday park and lead through 70 km of the Hunsrück countryside.
