Then the hotel “Schloss Frauenmark” is the perfect choice for you, as already the owners are great individualists who arranged the house according to their own travel experiences. The emphasis of traditional values guarantees true and honest hospitality which you will experience during the very first minutes. This special ambience is created by the warm fire burning in the unique chimney in the entrance hall but also by a round tour through the public area of the hotel: there is the specially arranged restaurant “Claude Monet”, the wine tavern, the elegant bar “Florence”, the library with its great selection of books, and the tea-shop. Tea is one of the characteristic features of our house therefore tea fans and those who may become interested while staying with us, will be delighted. In the “Bell Etage” of the castle, you will find the tea room and the dinner separeé for an undisturbed dinner (also in very private atmosphere), 2 more public rooms and of course the 11 gust rooms. We feature 3 suites, 7 double rooms and 1 single room. Each room is very individually arranged with great love to the detail. The atmosphere and decoration of the house and its rooms have often been compared to English Manor-houses by our guests. The hotel “Schloss Frauenmark” is situated right in the soft landscape of the region of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, close to the county capital of Schwerin with its picturesque castle. After having enjoyed the home-made English scones and the rich breakfast served by the hotel, we recommend our guests the various nearby walking and hiking trails; also horse-riding, a golf court and a bike rental are in direct vicinity.
