The cozy and classy „Lodge Fundo Laguna Blanca“ is located in the agricultural valley of the Fundo. For guests the Lodge offers fife rooms: One double bedroom with private bathroom as well as a double bedroom, a twin bedroom with a bunk bed and two single bedrooms, all with a shared bathroom. In the breakfast room, a rich german breakfast is served every morning. The sun terrace with views of the volcano „Tolhuaca“ invites to relax and in the evening guests can sit around a bonfire in front of the Lodge. Meals are served either on the terrace or in the dining area. Next to the Lodge stands the „Casa Sauce“ with two bedrooms, one bathroom and a living room, which offers space for up to three guests. Fundo Laguna Blanca is located in the south of Chile and offside of large roads in the “Region de la Araucania” near Curacautín. Surrounded by the country’s most impressive National Parks, the Fundo’s 1200 hectare offer quite an impressive natural scenery, itself. Fenced by the three volcanos, “Lonquimay”, “Tolhuaca” and “Llaima”, the premises comprise endless areas of natural forest, among others home to the last remains of a very old and rare type of tree, the Araucaria, which is also responsible for the region’s name. Moreover, Fundo Laguna Blanca own one of Chiles most beautiful and yet completely preserved natural highlights, the “Laguna Blanca”. “Fundo Laguna Blanca” invites its visitors to engage in a great variety of activities. Our extensive network of trails, winds its way deep through the natural forest until it reaches the feet of the two volcanoes “Lonquimay” and “Tolhuaca”. Both volcanos can be ascended via the Fundo. It therefore provides a highly attractive surrounding for tracking, trail riding and extensive jeep-tours into the volcanic landscape. However, “Fundo Laguna Blanca” is not only about adventure, one can take part in horseback ride- and communication- trainings, go swimming, fishing and canoeing at the “Laguna Blanca”, or simply enjoy the peace and silence of this untouched natural environment while sun bathing at one of ourseveral beaches. Along with the change of seasons, our portfolio of activity’s changes. In the winter time, we also offer snowshoe and ski trails. Health and sustainability are centerpieces of our vision. The former emphasizes a strengthening of body, mind and soul, thereby fostering a state of inner harmony and balance. The latter aimsat creating awareness for environmental issues and underlines the importance of nature conservation, by means of enabling our visitors to experience our sustainable agriculture and forestry. For overnight guests and program participants we offer breakfast, lunch, diverse evening meals and coffe & cake – on the terrace or in the dining area.
