The hotel has 96 fashionably furnished rooms and thanks to the unique architecture 84 of them provide a balcony and view onto the Jungfrau. The restaurants offer highlights such as the Specialty Restaurant Bellini, the Panoramic Restaurant Top o’Met on the 18th floor and the Metro Bar in the spacious hotel entry hall. The hotel is also an ideal place for successful conferences and seminars with 8 air-conditioned group and conference rooms that hold up to 200 people. Additionally, the Hotel Metropole offers a sauna and possibilities to park your car on site. The train stations Interlaken East or West are only a short 10-minute walk away. The hotel is ISO 9001 certified. Starting 3rd January 2014, we will be renovating the pool and sauna areas on the “Terrazzo” level. The renovation should last until about Mid-June 2014. During this phase, the existing sauna will remain open for the guests. The new sauna will most probably be installed towards the end of the renovation phase. Nearby are boutiques, banks, a conference centre and a casino. We also offer very quiet rooms facing the backyard. They are all equipped with cable TV, WLAN and some of them have a balcony decorated with geranium in summer. Free parking facilities are available close to the hotel. It is also possible to drive up to the hotel in order to unload your luggage. The Mexican specialty restaurant El Azteca (non-smoker) offers 20 seats and a comfortable bar. We serve Mexican delicacies like Enchiladas, Fajitas, Pollo en Mole and more. Our Margaritas are also very delicious. In winter friends of the owner Polo visit the restaurant to sing some Mexican songs! Bienvenidos! Bicycle enthusiasts should not hesitate to contact Polo Rosas, a passionate cyclist.
