The house is the last restaurant/hotel that is in front of the Tamina Gorge (45 minute walk) and is located a few steps away from the world famous Tamina Thermal Bath (3 minutes walk) and. Bad Ragaz is located an hour east of Zurich. From the rail station it is 10 minutes to the hotel. There are bus lines that not only lead into the village, but also to Pfäfers and the Tamina gorge. The charming holiday region Heidliand has numerous options to choose from, each day, in all seasons to enjoy. The famous story of Heidi by Johanna Spyri is 10 minutes from the hotel to discover. The largest hiking area in the Heidiland is Flumserberg. Other lifts e.g. are in Bad Ragaz & Wang (Pizol) or in Malan's beautiful areas that you can bring a pleasurable ride in the air. During the winter season, the near Pizol and Flumserberg ski resorts are very enjoyable places to spend heavenly days. Two more ski resorts with world leading acknowledgment are St. Moritz and Davos, about one and a half hour away. The hotel was recently renovated with new furniture.
