Muyuna is a 100% Peruvian Lodge, located in the Amazon river, Iquitos, inside the reserve Tanmhiyacu Tahuayo. Muyuna is surrounded by 10 lagoons, which allow us to GUARANTEE the observation of birds, monkeys, sloth, pink and gray dolphins, piranhas, caimans in their own habitat. We can proudly say that we are listed in the top places of the tripadvisor and we are also highly recommended in the tourism books like the Lonely Planet, Footprints, Rough Guide, Moon, among others. We also offer a very attractive tour of bird watching of 4 days in which you can see up to 480 different kinds of birds including the almost extinct Wattled Curassow or Crax globulosa (Piuri). And for fisher man we offer a 5 days tour exclusively dedicated to catch a variety of fish, specially, peacock bass (el tucunaré). Our minimum stay is 3 days and 2 nights. If you want to make a reservation with us, you have to be at 9am in Iquitos, and your return flight to Lima must be after 6pm of the last day of your tour. Our prices include a guide, the hotel, meals, excursions. and transportation. Business hours of reception: On business days: from 08:00 to 18:00 On the weekend: from 08:30 to 17:00 .
