Elegant, unique, Georgian family house with romantic four poster bedrooms, half testers and a cosy south facing single. We serve mostly organic and fair traded full english breakfasts until 11.00am every day. Earliest breakfast is 7.30am. The guest house has a friendly relaxed atmosphere and is situated in a quiet elevated location with about a 20 minute walk down to the city centre. (Minimal traffic noise and good views in all rooms.) Free parking with a regular bus service should you not wish to walk. All rooms are en-suite, 2 regular doubles have showers, king size rooms and four posters and the single have baths and showers. Each room has a hospitality tray, shampoo/conditioner/moisturiser, hair dryer, feather duvets and pillows Please note for those with allergies that we have a dog and several cats – reception areas only. We accept pets by prior arrangement. We are sorry but Saturday nights are generally only available as part of a two night booking. Being an eco guest house, we offer a discount to those who arrive by train or bus when booking direct, we use a local laundry and green electricity. Our cancellation terms are a full 72 hours notice required. WiFi is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge. Free public parking is possible on site (reservation is not needed).
