The Shikwari Reserve consist of a 200 hectare natrual reserve with two camps on the property Shikwari Bush Lodge: Five Luxury suites with private bathrooms and outdoor showers set in a bushveld setting with views on the Drakensburg Mountains. Rate includes dinner & breakfast. Suite are very private and equipped with hospitality trays, mini fridge, bathrobes & slipper, fluffy towels and faceclothes, airconditioning and ceiling fans. The bathrooms have lovely large baths and natural toiletries are supplied. The main area has a large covered veranda, pool, towel are supplied, lounge and diningroom and the Warthog Bar. Children over 10yrs welcome here and pay a child rate up to the age of 13yrs. Pangolin Bush Camp; Self Catering. 4 Rustic but comfortable thatched traditional Rondavels. This camp is for the guest who likes to cater their own food and drinks. It consists of four rondavels (round rooms) with a shared bathroom, kitchen fully equipped with fridge/freezer, oven, hob, microwave, toaster and kettle, also all tableware. A Boma for braai's (barbecues) plus a pool in the garden. Plenty of free parking and should guests want meals booking is essential with their accommodation and payable on arrival; as there is no formal restaurant. Children at this camp under 13yrs stay free when rooming with with parents. Please bring own pool towels. Please note: Please be sure to book the correct accommodation as changes might not be done once booked.If an upgrade is required there will be a suppliment and is only if there is availability. Facilities differ between the two camps and not all amenities are available at the self catering camp. Please check with us if unsure of what is available.
