Christine and Clive would like to welcome you our 4 star Tourism Graded Guest House, we offer a shuttle service (surcharge) in a seven seater Chrysler Voyager to and from the airport and various tours can be arranged for our guests. We are close to all major highways that will take you to The Kruger National Park, Durban and Pretoria, Cape Town is a twelve hour drive or a two hour flight, there are five four star Golf Courses within 8kms from the Guest Gouse and a Casino which is 4kms, for the ladies there are 5 Wellness Centre's within 2kms, should you not have your own transport we will gladly take you there. We will ensure that your stay with us is extremely comfortable in our eight spacious luxurious suits, all rooms sleep two people, 5 double twin rooms with two three quarter beds and 3 double rooms with a queen size bed, toiletries and hairdryers are supplied in all rooms and the rooms are serviced daily, all our rooms are tastefully decorated with crisp percale linen and oh! so comfy beds with electric blankets for those chilly Joburg evenings, all bathrooms ensuite have underfloor heating with a large frameless glass shower 1mtr x 2mtrs, the rooms also have tea/coffee/rusk facilities, electric clock radio, 3 speed ceiling fans and laminated flooring, glass mirror doors lead you into your bathroom. The rooms are all pool facing and have selected DSTV (Satelite TV) and TV 1,2,3 also ETV and free wireless access for those who require it, so weather you are travelling for business or pleasure we have your comfort in mind and we hope that you will want to return again and again. The smell of freshly brewed coffee awaits you when you rise and you may choose a health breakfast, Continental or english breakfast with a variety of fresh fruit juices which may be taken in the dining room or on the wooden deck overlooking the garden and solar heated pool, please advise if you have any special meal requirements or allergies before you arrive, we offer a different menu each evening for dinner, or should you wish to utilize the 24 restaurants that are within 3kms of the Guest House we will gladly take you, along with great hospitality Avon Rd Guest House & Tours looks forward to welcoming you to our Guest House and South Africa, if there is anything that you need to know please do not hesitate to contact us.
