La Petite Dauphine is a picturesque estate set amongst vineyards, olive groves and fruit orchards. This historic working fruit and wine farm offers superior luxury accommodation and is a mere 1,7 km from Franschhoek Village, unofficially known as the gourmet capital of South Africa. The stately driveway, lined with cypresses, white roses and agapanthus leads to the heart of the estate. Here guests will have a choice between the 4 Luxury Suites, 2 Luxury Two Bedroom suites – ideal for families with children, Two Exclusive Villa Suites or aJunior Studio Suite. All suites are superbly decorated by our in house design studio and offer views over dams, sun kissed orchards, vineyards and the breath-taking Franschhoek Mountains. Artwork found in the manicured gardens add to the charm of the estate. Guests will be pampered with soft gowns, fluffy towels and towelling slipper, other amenities quality are also provided to make the stay truly comfortable. Suites are climate controlled, with underfloor heating, heated towel rails and wood burning fireplaces for chilly winter nights. The Exclusive Villa suites offers guests coverd patios and deck areas with plunge pools for own use. Each of the luxury suites has a floor space of 110 square meters. Luxury suites offer 85 square meters of living space while Two Bedroom Luxury Suites have 110 sqaure meters each. The cosy Junior Studio Suite has a covered deck area and guests will enjoy 35 square meters of floor space. Additional suite features include complimentary Wi-Fi, Nespresso Coffee Makers and Blu-ray DVD machines with a well-stocked video library. Guests may enjoy a hand crafted breakfast Café BonBon . The café has been skillfully converted from a 200 year old wine cellar. Nestled under majestic oak trees the café terrace offers a glimpse into refined country life with ponds, vineyards and orchards. The dramatic Franschhoek Mountains form a perfect backdrop to the café setting. The menu features items such as our much-requested slow roasted pork belly and a delicious freshly made ravioli. Seasonal changes are made to the offerings with ingredients that showcase the abundant regional produce. The Cafe is open daily for lunch and on selected evenings for dinner. The Studio at La Petite Dauphine is a beautiful conversion from a historical barn. The charm of the original structure has been beautifully restored and brought back to life. The Studio is the perfect location for intimate and romantic wedding and truly special occasions.
