High in the Langeberg Mountains outside the quaint town of Montagu lies African Game Lodge. Far, far from the mad rush of daily living where you can unwind and enjoy nature. Accommodation on our game reserve is in traditional Karoo Thatched Chalets, or luxury tents either self-catering or full board. You are free to explore the reserve safely with hiking trails, trail running and mountain bike trails or join us for a nature and game viewing drive. We are environmentally friendly, operate completely off the grid. Our reserve is home to large antelope, wildebeest and two non-releasable cheetahs. We have fossils, bushman paintings, historical ambush and battle sites, colonial ruins and lots more to discover. We have WiFi in the Lodge, Satellite TV, Bar and Lounge. Enjoy our typical friendly and relaxed South African Hospitality with good home-style traditional cooking. Although when you stay with us, you can enjoy the absolute quietness of the bush without any interuptions, you are also close enough to take day trips to Montagu and surrounds to explore the area, do wine tasting and visit small little towns and beautiful mountain passes.
