Sunshine in the City of the Sun: Located in Europe Nostra Award winning downtown of Szeged with a Mediterranean atmosphere and surrounded by the pedestrian zone of the historic city center, Hotel Soleil Szeged****, also close to the riverside of the Tisza river, offers guests ease of access to cultural and entertainment venues. In 2011, we opened our Hotel in one of Szeged’s most historic buildings, Burger House,used as a royal inn already in the 19th century. Special architectural solutions have been used to combine stylish elegance with the benefits of 21st century technology,preserving historic character but creating an atmosphere of eclectic ambiance for this charming building. The Hotel has 16 rooms, of which 13 standard rooms have been designed to feature a specialgallery layout. A particular focus has been placed on the quality of materials used to enhance an atmosphere of being at home. A built-in elevator and a handicap room designed to meet special demands offer our guests with reduced mobility an ease of access to all hotel amenities. Our 18 m2 standard gallery rooms are especially suited to business travelers who need high-speed wired and wireless broadband Internet access. We also have a quadruple room, offering improved comfort for our guests, including families. Our standard rooms are designed to offer our guests, especially families with older children, apartment-style accommodation, too, as two standard rooms share a common vestibule also serving as a parlor and featuring a kitchenette equipped on demand. The two separately lockable rooms open from this common space, which is an ideal place for the whole family to have a common rest. We have a 125 square meter luxury apartment with balcony and superb outlook to Kárász Street, the main pedestrian street of Szeged, and Klauzál Square..
