The Hotel Florenz is situated just half a mile away from the beach, in front of the gates of the medieval castle. It is a former monastery dating from the XIX century. Though it is a hotel now and completely renovated, it retains its typical flair. The long corridors, simple rooms, original doors, the cosy “Piazzetta” and a friendly atmosphere witness the original character of the building. Forty-four rooms on three floors with lift, are equipped with telephone and colour television. The restaurant, an air-conditioned hall at the edge of the pool, offers a unique cuisine with dishes and wines from Liguria. The hotel also has a spacious lawn, pool and a convenient private parking lot. A free shuttle service on request and bicycles for rent ensure a fast connection to the beach. Families with children find also a parents’ kitchen, a playroom and child care offered in the summer months. Finally, road cyclists and mountain bikers have access to a bike garage with video surveillance, equipped for small repairs. We also offer true sustainable holidays with organic vegetables from our garden or from local farmers, energy saving lamps, composting, waste separation, and much more. Organic vegetable patch: in our garden there is an organic vegetable patch. This serves not only for growing crisp vegetables for our restaurant, but becomes in the early evening hours an open lab for adults and children who want to discover the connection between man and nature.
