We are located on a picturesque 14th century Grad Podvin Estate only 2 km from the medieval town of Radovljica, 2 km from Slovenia's most important pilgrimage sight – Brezje, 7 km from Bled lake and the Triglav National Park, 35 km from the nation's capital Ljubljana and 20 km from Ljubljana International Airport. Vila Podvin has been completely renovated in 2007. Nowadays it offers accommodation in 7 comfortable rooms and an a la carte restaurant, run by one of Slovenia's best Chefs - Uroš Štefelin. Uroš finds challenges in discovering forgotten local ingredients, getting to know them and create new dishes in his own, unique way. With modern technics and creativity he transforms traditional dishes into culinary delights of Slovene Nouvelle Cuisine. Our restaurant is decorated with local Slovene souvenirs where each tells a tale of its past and the wealth of Slovenian Cultural heritage. We wish to add to this collection by sharing our culinary souvenirs with you; visit us, taste the dishes and when leaving, leave with good memories and the recipes of the dishes you have tasted. Wedding ceremonies under the clear blue skies, garden parties under the stars will add an unforgettable flair to your event. Guests are welcome to relax in our tented garden, try the house grown vegetables, plant your own seeds, learn how to garden and partake in one of the culinary workshops where under chef Uros's skilled eye you will learn how to prepare some of cooking creations. You may also choose Vila Podvin as the location for children's birthday party, take the time to enjoy in horseback riding along the countryside and learn more about Slovenia by taking the trail of Slovenian souvenirs that are on display and available to be purchased in Vila Podvin.
