The house which was build at the turn of the century, was once home to the silent movie star, Asta Nielsen. Many original features are still to be seen including decoratively covered ceilings and detailed art nouveau windows. Only minutes away are the underground stations U-Bahnhof Kurfuerstendamm and the Uhlandstr. as well as the railway station Berlin Zoologischer Garten. The airports are directly connected by bus to Tegel (Bus 109) and to Schoenefeld by train (S-Bahn 9 or Express train to Berlin Zoologischer Garten). The Hotel is centrally located in an area where theatres, cabarets and restaurants are easily accessible if not within distance then by normal transportation system thus enabling one to enjoy this world city around the clock.
