Welcome! Come experience an unforgettable adventure. “La Casa Amarilla,” built in 1948, is one of the last buildings of Modern Quito that survived the urban modernization movement. The building conserves the history of its era, which we remember fondly in Quito, a city declared by UNESCO as the first “World Heritage Site”. Conveniently located in the modern sector of Quito in a safe and peaceful residential area, La Casa Amarilla offers a perfect jumping off point to move about the city.In a ten minute car ride you can arrive at the Mariscal Sucre International Airport or the historical center of Quito. In a 25 minute (2 km) walk, you will encounter numerous tourist attractions such as “La Zona Rosa,” located in La Mariscal, the city cable car “El TeleferiQo,” various community parks, and the financial and commercial districts of Quito. The Trolley and Metrobus lines are located very close to the house and several regular bus routes pass nearby taking you to any destination within the city limits. In 2010 La Casa Amarilla underwent a restoration process in which the house’s structure and history were preserved along with architectural elements which contribute to the magical and unique qualities of its construction. Six spacious rooms offer a spectacular panoramic view. On a clear day, one can enjoy a fantastic vista of the city skyline including La Virgen del Panecillo monument, La Basilica Cathedral, snow-capped Cotapaxi, and the surrounding verdant hills. Every room includes a full, modern, private bathroom, recently reconstructed with attention to aesthetic detail and comfort. The vibrant, colored walls create an artistic fusion of rustic and modern elements which form a haven of tranquility and warmth for our guests. Free wi-fi high speed internet connection in every room.Step outside into our garden area, a small city oasis where you can sit peacefully by the fountain and observe hummingbirds, flowers, and a variety of local fruit trees. In the dining area, start off the day with hot coffee or tea and a complimentary breakfast buffet served each morning between 7:00 and 9:30am.A free 24-hour coffee and tea station. LA CASA AMARILLA: SIMPLY THE OPTION!!!
