The traditional guest house "Kokalenia" located right on the Sea front, on the main beach of Skyros Town, Molos, overlooking the natural rock fortress with the castle of Skyros, the vastness of the Aegean Sea and Mount Kohilla. All 10 rooms, doubles, triples and quads, are equipped with air conditioning, kitchenette, refrigerator, TV and balcony. Guests can enjoy delicious dishes such as Lobster with Pasta and other Greek cuisine traditional dishes served in our tavern, which operates from 1955 which has won an award by the Greek Tourism Organization. In all areas free Wi-Fi is available. We offer free transfer from / to the port and airport. For those who enjoy recreation and various activities, you can find a lot to do in Skyros. From watersports, windsurfing and fishing, to trekking and various excursions, Skyros has so much to offer those who decide to explore and venture out in search of it's hidden beauties. You can also visit the monastery Agios Georgios Skyrianos (St. George of Skyros) which is situated below the kastro. In a pretty olive grove in the south part of Skyros you can see the grave of the British poet Rupert Brooke who died here during World War I. The archaeological site of Palamari is a fascinating remain from the Bronze Age worth a visit. There are also very unusual kinds of small horses on the island.
