Hotel Villa Volgy ***/**** is situated in the Szepasszonyvolgy (Valley of Beautiful Women) which is famous for its winecellars. The neighbourhood of the hotel is very quiet, so it can be a perfect place for relaxing. The popular wine cellars and restaurants can be approached with an easy walk, we also recommend the hotel for those guests who would like to taste the atmosphere of the bustling Valley. In 2006 the hotel's 4-star wing was opened in a new building, where air-conditioned rooms, a conference room and the wellness department await guests. The 100-year-old main building was renovated in 2009, the new wing houses modern, high quality, 4-star „design deluxe” rooms and a unique restaurant. The wellness section has also been enlarged. The 2 restaurants of the hotel offer Hungarian specialities and wellness meals. In the larger restaurant – built in 2005 – max. 150 persons can be seated in pleasant, comfortable, airconditioned environment. The smaller „design” restaurant is suitable for max. 80 persons. Grill parties (on the terrace) and wine tasting (with award winning wines of the region's most famous wine makers, held in the hotel's own wine cellar) are very popular among guests. Closed parking place is available (upon extra charge: 1.000 HUF/car/night). The imposing buildings of the hotel complex are surrounded by a 2 ha beautiful park with shady trees, a small rock garden and blooming plants. Those who like romance will surely be amazed by the 100-year old chapel, where weddings can be held.
