Situated in very close proximity to the historic Roscommon Castle, Gleeson’s Townhouse & Restaurant is a lovingly restored 19th century building overlooking the bustling market square in the picturesque town of Roscommon - the gateway to the West of Ireland and County Roscommon’s idyllic Lakelands. We are a 90 minute drive from Dublin and if you wish to take the train we can pick you up at the Train Station. Accommodation at Gleeson’s Townhouse is intimate and superb with a choice of 19 En-suite Bedrooms and 2 Luxurious Suites delivering high levels of luxury and comfort. Our Luxury Suites have the extra facility of a luxury bath, king size bed and trouser press. There is also free secure parking on site. Guests can enjoy excellent food and drink at our fully licensed Restaurant or Gleeson's Café, both located within the Townhouse. Our menus offer a choice of locally sourced & organic sustainable food. Whether you are looking for a coffee with homemade scones and preserves, or an elegant evening meal, there are a variety of menus and dining options served all day. We also offer a comprehensive children’s menu which covers a number of healthy options. We offer private conference, party and intimate wedding facilities. Guests can also bring a taste of Gleeson's home with a trip to our Artisan Food & Wine Shop- offering a fantastic range of locally sourced artisan products and located just a stone's throw from our townhouse and restaurant. We are situated a 5 minute walk from Roscommon Castle and Loughnaneane Park which is home to a state-of-the-art outdoor gym. If you fancy a swim, we can organise discounts to the Roscommon Leisure Centre or if you are interested in horse riding, we can also organise discounts to the Roscommon Equestrian Centre. There are also many walks and cycles around the area and we will be delighted to organise transport and bike hire for you. We are a 90 minute drive from Dublin or if you wish to take the train we can arrange to pick you up at the Roscommon Train Station.
