In the heart of Keflavik on Iceland’s beautiful Reykjanes peninsula, this four-star accommodation is only a short drive from the Blue Lagoon spa and the town’s exciting Viking attraction and a mere five minutes from the Keflavík International Airport. The Reykjanes peninsula has a stunning landscape with many unforgettable hiking trails. Reykjavík is also within easy reach, so you’re never far from the buzzing city life, and ensuring that you’ll always find exciting things to do during your stay with us. Following major renovations in 2007, the hotel offers a comfortable stay in a fresh, modern setting. That is how the manager at Icelandair Hotel in Keflavik, Bergthora Sigurjonsdottir, believes a hotel should be! She has over 16 years of experience in the hotel business and has been managing Icelandair Hotel in Keflavik since 2000. Her main passion is travelling around Iceland, no matter the season. She goes mountain hiking and enjoys family trips, staying in summer cabins and camper vans. Her favourite place is the nearby Reykjanesviti, which is Iceland’s oldest and biggest lighthouse. The tranquillity and beauty is one of the main attractions of the lighthouse and Bergthora has been going there since she was a toddler.
