A unique and contemporary accommodation and conference venue, situated in the grounds of Canterbury Cathedral, a UNESCO designated World Heritage Site, in the heart of the City of Canterbury, Kent. Of all the Hotels in Canterbury, the Cathedral Lodge offers the best located hotel accommodation in Canterbury. Go to bed and wake up the next morning enjoying the wonderful view of the Cathedral from your window! The Lodge has 29 stylish bedrooms, which are both modern and comfortable, with the majority offering stunning Cathedral views. Facilities include en-suite bathrooms, complimentary wireless broadband connection, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephones and LCD TVs with freeview. A full English breakfast is served to guests in the Refectory Restaurant, which has additional alfresco seating on the terrace during summer months. Individual guests should note that the Refectory Restaurant does not serve lunch or dinner. There is however a large choice of restaurants just a couple of minutes walk from the Lodge. The Library and Campanile Garden provide a unique and relaxed atmosphere in which to unwind. Canterbury Cathedral Lodge is the most uniquely located of all Canterbury hotels, you really couldn't stay overnight in a nicer location! Hotel residents benefit from free entrance to Canterbury Cathedral, worth £9 per person. Parking vouchers for the public car park just outside the Cathedral Grounds can be purchased from reception on arrival. Every effort will be made to have your room ready by 3pm but this cannot be guaranteed. Reception will be happy to store your luggage should you arrive earlier. Please advise us if you will be arriving later than 9pm so we can inform Security. The Christchurch Gate will be closed after this time and you will need to ring the bell to enter the Precincts. We do ask for a deposit equal to the amount of one night’s stay, which will be taken from a credit or debit card. If for any reason this reservation has to be cancelled then at least 48 hours notice is required prior to the date of arrival to avoid a cancellation charge for the first night’s accommodation.
