Run by a Belgian and an Ethiopian lady, there are 8 rooms in traditional style, 2 on piloti near the lakeside and one treeroom. Debre Zeit offers 26 degres the whole year, with sun , low humidity and no malaria. Only one hour of the capital. We can pick you up at the airport or in the capital. We also organise tours in the country.Fresh fish and vegetables from the local farmers are in our restaurant. 6 other crater lakes in the surroundings and an Olympic Swimming pool at 3 km. Our lodge is small and we have a family style approach to make you feel good in this country and our lodge. Garden at 4 levels in which you can see many big tortoises and 50 different African birds in 24 hours. Specially for birdwatchers, we know nice places in the surroundings. Fishing is also possible in the transparent water of the lake. Tilapia and Catfish are there. Ethiopia is a safe country, with very kind people and we drop you directly in the Ethiopian culture with the traditional coffee ceremony.
