The family owned Manor hotel sits at the foot of the ancient fortress, Table Mountain. We have the only indoor heated swimming pool and leisure facilities in the nearby area, with sauna, Jacuzzi, and steam pool at your disposal. Our bistro overlooks a valley encroached by an impressive escarpment and the river Usk. Food is of great importance to us, fresh, tasty, seasonal and wholesome of which 90% of the meat and poultry on our menus comes directly from the family farm just seven miles down the road. - thats what you call local ! Sir George Everest was born here at our hotel in 1790! His pioneering mapping work led him to the Himalayas, and the highest peak in the world was named after him in 1865 – Mount Everest.
