A romantic mountain chalet, perfect for couples, renovated in 2011 with the standards of bio-buildings, is nestled in the woods in a unique landscape and with a breathtaking view, only 1.5 km of gravel road from Madonna di Campiglio, the last town of the Val Rendena, in Trentino. It contains 6 double rooms and a restaurant. For ski enthusiasts, it is 2 km from Madonna di Campiglio lifts and 4 km from a beautiful ring for cross-country skiing. For mountain bikers, the chalet is located in the most spectacular part of the Dolomiti Brenta Bike route. For hikers... there is an endless number of mountain paths and rock climbing sites in the Adamello Brenta Natural Park. Chalet Fogajard means a different holiday in Madonna di Campiglio, but above all, it is a place of peace and relaxes, where you can enjoy a unique and spectacular view to the group of the Brenta Dolomites. It is a place where you feel immediately at home. Chalet Fogajard has six double rooms furnished with ancient wood from original mountain lodges. Two of the six rooms are made of Pinus Cembra, with its well-known calming property for the mind and perfect for those who live under stress and need to slow the pace of life. Each room has its own bathroom with shower, balcony or garden, adsl internet connection and a music library. The owners welcome also guests who are not hosted in the chalet: in a cozy dining room and in a “stube” with a fireplace which is perfect both for an aperitif and for an after dinner in front of the fire. At Chalet Fogajard in Madonna di Campiglio each dish tells a story and is a small concentration of enthusiasm: the philosophy that inspires the owners, directing the way they cook, can be summarized in the concept ofexperimentation in the tradition. All these aspects are combined with a warm atmosphere, a friendly service, fairly informal, and with a homely feeling. The whole structure is in the name of bio-sustainability, from local untreated larch wood to fabrics, from biomass and solar heating to the reuse of rainwater. To get you fully experience a "sustainable" holiday, the owners suggest that you ask for the shuttle service, with the possibility to park your car in Madonna di Campiglio and get it at the end of your permanence, thus helping to safeguard the precious territory of the Brenta Dolomites, Unesco World Heritage. The whole chalet can be rented completely, included the excellent cuisine. Next opening: wellness centre. Important: From 23rd December 2012 until 22nd March 2013 an arrival on saturday and a minimum stay of 7 nights is obligatory.
