Situated in Livigno at an altitude of 1800 meters beside a century old forest the Hotel San Carlo offers wonderful views overlooking the beautiful Livigno village and the surrounding 18 km long valley. Hotel San Carlo, is the ideal place for a delightful holiday. Built in Tirolean style, it consists of 7 chalet buildings connected by corridors and stairs to one another internally. Facilities in the hotel include an indoor swimming-pool, fitness centre, reception, large lobby , restaurant, bar (Piano bar in winter), duty free shop and a large function room for parties. Guests can also enjoy ski and boot rental, repairs and ski room with heated lockers. A mountain bike depot and workshop for small repairs is available in the summer. The 166 comfortable guest rooms, some with balcony, all have en-suite bathrooms with shower, hairdryer, telephone and television. The hotel doesn’t have a lift. An entertainment staff (Italian language) is also on hand to make your stay more lively and enjoyable. Free internet is available in the lobby. For ski lovers the hotel is only 100 m from the 4-seater chairlift “Teola Pianoni Bassi” which links up to the “Mottolino” ski area. Just a few steps from the hotel is the free ski bus stop. The bus will take you in minutes to the village centre, cross country ski area and the various ski lifts. The bus operates throughout the year. In the summer the area offers over 600 km (3200 km in the Alta Rezia region) of mapped routes for both hiking and mountain bike excursions to enjoy either on your own, with groups or with an experienced alpine guide or mountain bike instructor from the local mtb-school who will help you discover the wonderful Swiss and Stelvio National Parks.
