HOMA  Chateau With 46 chic and well-appointed rooms, HOMA offers guests a level of style never before available in China. Moreover, HOMA’s location inside Yuzi Paradise, a stunning 550 hectare art park filled with monumental sculptures and limestone peaks, allows for guests to have unique aesthetic experiences while still being close to Guilin’s major tourist attractions. Art Park The dream of visionary Taiwanese entrepreneur Tsao Rhy-Chang, Yuzi Paradise’s mission is the creation of new human monument merging art with nature. During a 10 year period of unbridled artistic creativity, over 100 artists from around the world made more than 200 pieces, which remain in the park for posterity. Yuzi Paradise’s massive Atelier continues to specialize in sculpture, print-making, and pottery, and is the largest art studio in Asia, if not the world. Media Attention To allow more people to enjoy this fertile environment, Yuzi Paradise gave birth to HOMA (Hotel of Modern Art), which opened its doors in 2004. It has since been given a full page profile in Departures magazine, and has been named as one of “China’s Premier Boutique Hotels” by Asia and Away magazine. UK newspaper The Guardian listed it in February 2008 as one of the top 10 places to go in China. In May 2008, HOMA was placed on Conde Nast Traveler’s Hot List 2008. Renaissance of Asian Hospitality – Facilities and service of HOMA SPA and Restaurants The first floor of the sleek building, designed by architect Hsiao Jon-jen, boasts a spa that specializes in massage, balneotherapy, and facials, and already has been recognized on Conde Nast Traveler’s Spa Hot List 2008. Outside, the back porch features the Woods Café, naturally shaded by pine trees. Next door is Lotus, a high-end Asian fusion restaurant, featuring stunning design, custom-made furniture, and exquisite cuisine. Guests can also enjoy delicious Western and Asian food in venues elsewhere in the park. Magnificent outdoor meals—including one in a stunning cathedral-sized cave—can also be prepared for two to 200 people. Service HOMA raises the bar for design and service in China. Designed by Tracy Wen, each room boasts a unique and clever configuration—no two are alike, yet each exude comfort and class. And from the moment guests land at the airport, they are paired with a trained Host, who will be available as a personal concierge for the duration of their stay. Moreover, guests are provided with complimentary local cell phone use in case they need help at any time during their tour of beautiful Guilin. Business hours of reception: On business days: from 00:00 to 00:00 .
