Above Portoroz, Piran and Izola, this modern hostel is housed in a newly refurbished former elementary school. The air-conditioned and colourfully styled rooms provide for a comfortable stay and optimal relaxation after a day of swimming or hiking and biking through the picturesque natural surroundings. Apart from culinary delights, Slovenian Istria offers you a host of cultural and historic sights, easy to explore from this inviting hostel. The hostel is located in the direct vicinity of Portoroz, Piran and Izola. It offers a beautiful view on the surrounding valleys. The hostel features two- and four-bed rooms where you can choose among individual and shared sanitary facilities in four different colours, where each represent a different season. Wireless internet access is available in all rooms, there are computers with internet access located in the hallway too. You will feel well also in the seminar rooms, which are equipped with tables, projectors, Internet access and contain all the other equipment required for seminars, lectures and meetings. Food is available in the kitchen with a dining room. In front of the building there are enough parking lots for everyone. All rooms are well equipped and air conditioned. Spacious two-bed rooms offer a pleasant stay for individuals. Rooms with bathrooms are available for everyone who wants more privacy, while the larger four-bed rooms with shared or own bathrooms will feel like home to all larger groups. Portorož is the capital of fun on the Slovenian coast. A city beach and countless seaside bars provide a varied offer and an active night life. Piran is known for its rich and fascinating history. The local historical and other sights in the vicinity provide many interesting different trip destinations. Numerous tourist farms are located among the countryside and offer the typical local cuisine and other culinary specialties. Marked biking and walking treks are perfect for the more active travellers. Direction Koper - Izola - Korte. By car: Once you arrive to Koper, take the main road to Izola. Follow the exit Center/Centro and continue to the second traffic lights. Turn left, in the direction of Korte. Follow the main road until you pass the second sign for the village of Korte (about 8 km). On the main crossroad in the village turn left in the direction of Smarje. After 300 metres turn right on the hostel parking area. By bus: There are many towns in Slovenia connected by bus with Izola. Once you arrive to Izola, take the public transport to arrive to the village of Korte. Walk 300 metres from the bus stop in Korte to the hostel. - Tourist tax 0,73€ per person per night is not included. - Free private parking is possible on site (reservation is not needed).
