If you are going to spend some time in this hotel, maybe you would like to know some of its history. The building was built around 1585, originally as a house, but it has known several fates through the ages. It was first owned by rich merchants and ship owners, and then by French ‘Filibusters’. During the second part of the 19th century and until the beginning of the 20th century, it was a traditional inn under the name "Inn of the White Pigeon". A small alley next to the building leads directly to the sea. On the other side of this lane, were the garden and the stables of the inn, which is now home to the restaurant.
