The Volksabdij in Ossendrecht is situated on one of the most beautiful locations just north of the Belgian border on the Brabantse Wal. Our Abbey is located in a beautiful natural environment in the middle of the Woods. The Volksabdij is extremely suitable to stay for your business meeting (Antwerp is a 15 minutes drive away) or relax. In the surroundings you can perfect hiking and cycling, but also a trip to the historical city centre of Bergen op Zoom is possible. Our rooms are both overlooking the forests and the ven or on the main plaza. The luxury rooms are equipped with a private bathroom with shower and toilet, while the traditional Abbey rooms with common sanitary facilities. In addition to the Abbey is located our restaurant The Peafowl hospitable where you receive for your breakfast, lunch and dinner but also for a nice beer or glass of fine wine at the bar. The Volksabdij features a spacious and free parking right next to the restaurant. The Volksabdij is a place where you just relax, and where hospitality is still high priority!
