Renovation Notice Sabah Hotel, Sandakan will be undergoing a series of comprehensive renovation, leading to a total makeover of the property. Phase 1 will begin from the 31st October 2012 to 4th February 2013, involving Ming Restaurant, Amadeus, and construction of 2 "mock up rooms". Work noise will be expected during the demolition period, which is outlined below. Ming Restaurant - Renovation work will begin from 31st October till 09th December 2012. Demolition exercise will be carried out from 31st October till 12th November 2012, between 9am to 5pm. Chinese cuisines will be temporarily served in Plantation Cafe throughout the renovation period. Mock-up room - Construction of "mock up rooms" will be carried out on the 4th and 5th Floor simultaneously from 3rd November till 01st December 2012. The left wing on both floors will be closed. Demolition exercise will be carried out from 3rd till 12th November 2012, between 10am to 5pm and during this period, the left wing on level 3 and 6 will also be closed. Amadeus - Renovation work will begin from 5th November 2012 till 04th February 2013. Demolition exercise will be carried out from 05th November till 29th December 2012, between 10am to 5pm.
