Standing in an acre of mature gardens in a leafy conservation area, we offer you warm hospitality and award winning food and service in the relaxing and friendly atmosphere you often find only in a small hotel. Leisure visitors can enjoy afternoon tea by our welcoming log fire, which awaits you in the winter months on your return from a day’s sightseeing or shopping, or perhaps laze a while on our pool terrace in the summer. Business guests will find The Old Rectory provides a calm and restful environment in which to relax from the strains of the working day, enjoy a delicious meal and feel revived and refreshed after a good night’s sleep. All our prices include a tasty, home cooked breakfast featuring Norton’s Dairy milk (produced just 4 miles away), butcher’s pork sausages, dry cure bacon and ham from Barnard’s of Attleborough, Norfolk preserves, as well as our own home-made fruit compotes and toasted muesli. In our Dining Room you can enjoy a delicious 3 course, 2 AA rosette dinner, prepared by our Chef James Perry from locally sourced and seasonal produce and freshly cooked to order.
