Near the hotel is a Mangrove Forest, Phra Tong Temple, and the Khao Phra Thaeo Wildlife Conservation Center. Also nearby are several beaches, but not Patong, as the hotel is on the opposite end of the island. Bangtao Village offers one of the few reasonably priced accommodation choices in one of the most popular tourist destination of SE Asia. Going around the island is relatively easy by either renting a car or a motorbike, alternatively you can get on a tuk-tuk.
