Situated in the Upper Galilee with breathtaking views of the Golan Heights and Galilee Mountains, Amiad Country Lodging is a wonderful spot from which to head out on day trips in northern Israel. Those interested in water adventures can enjoy the rafting and water sports in the nearby Jordan River, while history buffs can visit nearby Rosh Pinna, Safed and Capernaum. Visitors who enjoy outdoors activities can visit the Hamat Gader hot springs, the Hula Valley, Banias River, Yehuda Forest and Mount Meron, while those interested in museums can enjoy the interesting exhibits at the Tel Hai and Hashomer museums. Those who prefer to stay near the hotel can visit the on-site winery and organic toy factory. The hotel's 27 air-conditioned ground floor rooms have recently been renovated and in addition to lovely garden views, they come with cable TV and feature a kitchenette with a refrigerator, kettle, microwave and electric hot plate. The garden adjacent to the rooms features a lovely, relaxing lounge area. Guests may enjoy complimentary wireless internet, an outdoor pool in season, tennis and basketball courts and a soccer field, a luggage room and a reception desk that is open 24 hours a day. Breakfast is served in the kibbutz's air-conditioned dining room, adjacent to the hotel. While there is no hotel restaurant, there is a nearby mini-market, where guests may purchase food.
