In a beautiful natural location in the heart of Chianti, this historic country house conversion sits on an operational wine farm, offering a beautiful garden and an authentic atmosphere. Built around 1400, the hotel retains many of the original architectural features, with high beamed ceilings complemented by terracotta floors and traditional Tuscan style furniture. In the evening, relax with an aperitif or cappuccino amid the sofas and old light fixtures of the bar hall, before enjoying a candlelit meal in the Il Cortile restaurant, where a complimentary breakfast is served the next morning. In the hotel’s own beautiful gardens, you can cool off in the spacious outdoor swimming pool. Enjoy a different view in every direction, with vineyards, olive groves, Elsa Valley, San Gimignano and Siena all visible in this superb landscape. And don’t forget to sample the fine wines produced on-site.(The Restaurant will be opened from 1st April.)
